Before You Begin
This track builds directly on The AI Wise Core. The governance frameworks, accountability principles, and AI vocabulary introduced in the Core are applied throughout these modules without being re-explained. If you have not yet completed the Core, we recommend doing so before starting this track. The learning experience will be significantly stronger for it.
How This Course Is Structured
AI Wise for Risk and Compliance Officers consists of 8 modules covering where AI is already embedded in your compliance function, where caution belongs in compliance work, the five RegTech tool categories and how to evaluate them, what data cannot enter an AI tool, your regulatory obligations under the EU AI Act and NIST AI RMF and ISO/IEC 42001, AI governance in practice using the ROCI framework, communicating AI risk to regulators and the board, and the compliance officer as AI governance architect.
Each lesson contains two videos — a short personal introduction and the full module content — followed by a three-question quiz. Complete the quiz to mark the lesson as done and unlock the next one.
Once all 8 lessons and quizzes are completed, the Certification Exam will appear automatically at the bottom of this page.
The Certification Exam
A score of 75% or higher — 15 out of 20 correct — earns you the AI Wise Risk and Compliance Officers Certificate. Upon passing, your certificate will be available for download in PDF format directly from your course dashboard. Your digital badge will be issued automatically via Certifier and can be shared on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.

How This Platform Works
1. Progress is tracked automatically. Every completed lesson and passed quiz is recorded and reflected in your progress bar at the top of this page.
2. To complete a lesson, watch both videos and pass the three-question quiz at the end. There is no time limit on lessons or module quizzes — retake them as many times as you like.
3. Your progress is saved automatically. You can leave and return at any time without losing your place. Use the course menu to navigate between lessons.
4. The Certification Exam is different. It has a 40-minute timer and a maximum of three attempts. Make sure you have completed and feel confident about all 8 modules before starting.

1. You have lifetime access to this course. Return whenever you need a refresher, whenever your organization introduces new AI tools, or whenever you want to revisit a module before a regulatory examination, board presentation, or audit.
2. Track content is updated when meaningful developments occur — new EU AI Act guidance or enforcement decisions affecting compliance obligations, significant shifts in the RegTech landscape, changes to regulatory expectations for AI-assisted AML and BSA workflows, or major developments in how agentic AI is being deployed in compliance functions. When updates are made, you have access to the revised content at no additional cost.
