We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions where GDPR or equivalent legislation applies, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

Credentials

  • Certifier — digital badge issuance. Your name and credential information is shared with Certifier to generate your badge upon passing an exam. Certifier Privacy Policy

Email Marketing

Analytics

  • Google Analytics / Google Site Kit — website analytics. Data is anonymized and aggregated. Google Privacy Policy

Automation & Lead Management

  • Tally — form submissions and lead capture
  • Zapier — workflow automation between services
  • Airtable — lead data management

6. Data Retention

  • Account and course data: retained for the duration of your account plus 3 years after account closure, to support credential verification requests
  • Transaction records: retained for 7 years to comply with US tax and accounting requirements
  • Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
  • Analytics data: retained in anonymized, aggregated form only

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@aiwise.training. Note that deletion of your account will also remove access to your courses and certificates.

7. Your Rights

For all users:

Our hosting provider Nexcess uses servers.com infrastructure, which operates in compliance with applicable international data protection frameworks. When we transfer data to third-party service providers, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

9. Children’s Privacy

AI Wise is designed exclusively for working professionals. Our courses are not directed at, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us at support@aiwise.training and we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. These include SSL encryption on all pages, secure password storage, and restricted access to personal data.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. 1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of AI Wise, a professional AI training platform headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, United States (“AI Wise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing aiwise.training or purchasing any course, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use AI Wise.

2. Our Services

AI Wise provides self-paced professional development courses in AI literacy and governance. Our services include:

  • Access to course content including video lessons, module quizzes, and certification exams
  • Issuance of the AI Wise Core Certificate and role-specific credentials upon successful exam completion
  • Digital badge issuance via Certifier
  • Lifetime access to purchased course content including future updates

3. Account Registration

To access courses you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account with others. Each license purchased is for individual use only.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Purchases and Payments

All prices are displayed in US Dollars. Payment is processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card information. Your course access is granted immediately upon successful payment confirmation. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time — changes do not affect purchases already completed.

5. Refund Policy

14-day refund policy: We offer a full refund within 14 days of purchase provided that less than 25% of the course content has been accessed. Once 25% or more of the course has been completed, no refund is available.

To request a refund, contact us at support@aiwise.training within 14 days of your purchase date. Include your name, email address, and order details. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

Refunds are not available for purchases where 25% or more of the course has been accessed, requests made more than 14 days after purchase, or where a certificate has already been issued.

6. Course Access and Lifetime License

Upon purchase you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and complete the purchased course for your own professional development. Your license includes unlimited access to course content for as long as AI Wise operates the platform, access to all future content updates at no additional cost, and the right to download and retain your certificate PDF once earned.

Your license does not include the right to share, resell, sublicense, or distribute course content, reproduce or republish course materials in any form, use course content for commercial training of others without written permission, or share your account credentials.

7. Certification and Credentials

Certificates and digital badges are issued upon successfully passing the relevant certification exam at a score of 75% or higher. AI Wise certificates are proprietary designations and are not accredited by any government body or external accreditation authority unless explicitly stated.

We reserve the right to revoke a credential obtained through dishonest means, including sharing exam questions, using unauthorized assistance, or misrepresenting identity.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to violate any applicable law, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, use automated tools to scrape course content, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with platform functionality. Violations may result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of credentials without refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All course content, materials, videos, assessments, frameworks, and branding on AI Wise — including the AI Wise name and owl mark — are owned by AI Wise and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our intellectual property beyond the personal learning license in Section 6.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

AI Wise is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. Course content is provided for professional development purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, regulatory, or compliance advice. You are responsible for applying course learnings appropriately within your own professional context.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AI Wise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of AI Wise after any changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before changes take effect.
